Rangers' Rick Nash: Wants to stay in New York
Nash wants to remain with the Rangers, SNY.tv reports.
Analysis:
The big winger is coming off the worst season of his career, having set low marks in goals (15), points (36) and shooting percentage (8.2) while missing 22 games to injury. That in combination with an early playoff exit has trade rumors swirling around him, and the Rangers would surely love to gain some salary flexibility by dealing Nash and his two remaining seasons at a $7.8 million cap hit.
