Agent: Wilkerson will be playing for 'someone' at start of 2016 season
Muhammad Wilkerson is recovering well from a fractured fibula, but his future with the New York Jets remains murky.
Chad Wiestling, who represents Wilkerson, provided an update on his client's recovery Saturday, tweeting that he'll be good to go for the start of the 2016 season.
Barring any major setbacks with rehab, Mo Wilkerson will indeed be playing for someone at beginning of 2016 NFL season!

What's particularly noteworthy is that Wiestling said Wilkerson will be playing for "someone" next season rather than the Jets.
Despite placing the franchise tag on Wilkerson, the Jets haven't ruled out the possibility of trading the star defensive end.
"It's not something we're actively pursuing," general manager Mike Maccagnan said Friday, according to Darryl Slater of NJ.com. "But at the end of the day, he is under the franchise tag, so we'll see how this thing plays out."
Wilkerson enjoyed a career year with the Jets in 2015, recording 64 tackles, 12 sacks, and two forced fumbles before fracturing his tibia in the regular-season finale.
