Report: Rams' Mason tasered, arrested on multiple charges
Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason was arrested Saturday in Hollywood, Fla., on drug and traffic charges, WPLG Local10.com's Paradise Afshar reports.
Court records indicate the 22-year-old was charged with resisting arrest, possession of cannabis, reckless driving, and failure to register a motor vehicle.
Police used a stun gun to subdue Mason when he didn't comply with the officer's attempts to arrest him, according to the report. He was later sent to hospital for medical clearance.
"We are very disappointed to learn of an incident involving Tre Mason in the Miami, Fla., area Saturday afternoon," read a statement released by the Rams. "We are in the process of obtaining more information about the facts surrounding this incident and will have no further comment at this time."
