Unable to grow a beard, Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly has opted to forgo haircuts for the playoffs instead.

Tight end Greg Olsen, center Ryan Kalil, linebacker Ben Jacobs, and right tackle Mike Remmers have all been growing out their beards during the team's playoff run, and Kuechly was hoping to join in. Unfortunately, he didn't have much success.
"I tried and it looked terrible," Kuechly told reporters Thursday, according to Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer. "They said all right well if you can't grow your beard you have to grow the hair."
