The Los Angeles Rams have had internal discussions about acquiring Peyton Manning if he wants to continue his playing career next season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Manning is widely believed to be strongly considering retirement, especially if his Denver Broncos win Super Bowl 50, allowing him to walk into the sunset as a champion.
Should Manning decide to continue playing, he is under contract with the Broncos for one more season. If the Rams are serious about bringing him to the West Coast, they may have to trade for him.
Such a move would be the big splash the Rams are rumored to be seeking to punctuate their first season back in California.
