Police report: Patriots' Jones was cooperative; house smelled of marijuana
The release of the police report detailing what happened the night New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones was treated for a medical emergency confirms most of the details previously reported.
According to the report, Jones showed up to a police station without a shirt on and walked in a hurried fashion toward a police-only entrance before police interceded. Then, without warning, Jones got down on his knees and put his hands behind his head.
Jones was anxious but cooperative and told police he had been instructed to come to the police station, but by whom is unclear.
The 25-year-old was sent to the hospital for medical attention and an officer went to Jones' house, where the door was unlocked, to retrieve his keys. At the house, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana.
Jones was reportedly under the influence of synthetic marijuana, which can cause paranoia, confusion, and similar symptoms.
