Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was carted to the locker room during Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a shoulder injury.
The four-time Pro Bowler was taken to the locker room for X-rays, according to the CBS broadcast, and was replaced by Landry Jones on the next series.
Roethlisberger, who is questionable to return, was driven into the turf on a sack by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict on the final play of the third quarter.
The hit came seconds after Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier knocked Bengals running back Giovani Bernard out of the game on a vicious tackle. The two teams squared off at midfield in a game that has become extremely physical.
The Cincinnati fans pelted Roethlisberger with debris as he was carted from the field.
