Report: Browns' Manziel skipped meeting Sunday morning
The Cleveland Browns tumultuous relationship with quarterback Johnny Manziel may soon come to an end.
Manziel did not show up for a scheduled meeting with the team doctor Sunday morning and was unreachable by phone, according to Peter King of Sports Illustrated.
This comes one day after Manziel, who is currently under the league's concussion protocol, was reportedly spotted gambling in Las Vegas. Manziel's agents withheld comment about his whereabouts since Saturday, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
At this point, it seems likely the team will move on from Manziel, and speculation has it that the former Heisman Trophy winner wants to go to the Dallas Cowboys.
Neither former head coach Mike Pettine nor owner Jimmy Haslam could say if Manziel was in Las Vegas over the weekend, though Haslam confirmed that he missed his concussion treatment.
