Eddie Lacy has officially been put on notice.
The Green Bay Packers worked out former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball on Friday, just one day after turning to James Starks and John Crockett in lieu of Lacy.
Ball, a 2013 second-round pick, was cut in September after failing to gain a foothold in the Broncos' backfield.
Over two seasons in Denver, he tallied 730 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
