Per coach Bill O'Brien, Hoyer passed his final concussion test and will be the Texans' starter at QB this coming Sunday against the Saints.
Analysis:
T.J. Yates drew the start at quarterback for the Texans in this past Sunday's 24-17 win over the Jets, but the team will return to Hoyer in Week 12, and he'll have a chance to take aim at a Saints' defense that has allowed a league-high 28 passing TDs to date, while giving up an average of 293.1 passing yards per game. Only the Giants have allowed more (309.9).
