Here's a look at the injury situation around the NFL heading into Week 11, with teams on byes and the Thursday night participants not included.

Quarterback

Tony Romo, Cowboys (at Dolphins) - Probable

Romo (collarbone) is eligible to return from the short-term injured reserve this week, and with Dallas having lost every game not started by its veteran QB, expect Romo to play if cleared to do so.

Peyton Manning, Broncos (at Bears) - Out

Manning was diagnosed with a torn plantar fascia, and is out indefinitely. Brock Osweiler replaced Manning midway through Sunday's game and will start against the Bears.

Sam Bradford, Eagles (vs. Buccaneers) - Out

Bradford left Philadelphia's loss to Miami with a concussion and a separated shoulder, leaving Mark Sanchez to try and lead the Eagles to a comeback. The ex-Jet is in line to start, as Bradford will miss at least one game.

Andrew Luck, Colts (at Falcons) - Out

Luck will remain out with a lacerated kidney. Matt Hasselbeck will deputize, having won his two starts earlier in the season.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jets (at Texans) - Probable

Fitzpatrick underwent thumb surgery last week, though it looks like he'll be ready for Sunday's game against the Texans. Geno Smith would start if necessary, and had a strong game in relief of Fitzpatrick in Week 8, completing 27 of 42 passes for 265 yards and two TDs, as well as one interception.

Brian Hoyer, Texans (vs. Jets) - Out

Hoyer was knocked out of Monday's game with a concussion, leaving T.J. Yates to come in and lead the Texans to an upset of the unbeaten Bengals. With Ryan Mallett no longer on the roster, Yates will start again, as Hoyer has been declared out this week.

Running Back

Matt Forte, Bears (vs. Broncos) - Questionable

With Forte out for a second consecutive week, Jeremy Langford turned in another strong performance with two TDs and a combined 182 yards rushing and receiving. Forte has been back in practice, but the team may opt to be cautious with him and his knee injury, especially with a Thanksgiving game upcoming.

Eddie Lacy, Packers (at Vikings) - Probable

Lacy sat out Green Bay's loss to Detroit with a groin ailment, but even if he had played, would have been relegated to a backup role, with James Starks having been named the starter earlier in the week. He doesn't appear to be a threat to miss a second consecutive game, but will be in a timeshare with Starks.

Carlos Hyde, 49ers (at Seahawks) - Out

Hyde will miss a third consecutive game with a stress fracture in his foot, despite having had an extra week to rest thanks to San Francisco's bye. He would have faced a Seattle run defense that limited him to 40 yards on 11 carries in Week 7, but Shaun Draughn and Kendall Gaskins will carry the load once again.

Darren McFadden, Cowboys (at Dolphins) - Questionable

The last man standing from the Joseph Randle-Lance-Dunbar-Christine Michael-McFadden backfield quartet that started the season, the ex-Raider has perhaps predictably landed on the injury report with a groin ailment suffered midweek.

With Tony Romo's return, Dallas' offense should offer more punch than in weeks past, and if McFadden is inactive, the bargain-basement duo of Rod Smith and Trey Williams could offer some value, as could Robert Turbin, on his third team of the season.

For what it's worth, McFadden has said that he plans to play.

Ryan Mathews, Eagles (vs. Buccaneers) - Out

A concussion will keep Mathews out this week, likely leading to more touches for DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles. That may not be a great thing for Philadelphia's offense, given that Mathews' team-leading 5.7 yards-per-carry in a secondary role has bested both Murray (3.5) and Sproles (3.7).

Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks (vs. 49ers) - Out

Lynch didn't practice Thursday with an abdominal injury and was declared out prior to Sunday's kickoff. His strongest game of a generally underwhelming season was a 27-122-1 rushing line accumulated in Week 7 against San Francisco.

Wide Receiver

Julian Edelman, Patriots (vs. Bills) - Out

Edelman broke his foot in New England's last-second win over the Giants, and is likely to be out until the playoffs. Danny Amendola filled in with 10 catches for 79 yards in the wake of Edelman's injury, and would seem to be the best candidate the fill the slot receiver role.

Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos (at Bears) - Out

Sanders ultimately played despite being considered questionable with an ankle injury, but left partway through with a head injury. If he can return this week, he'll be catching passes from Brock Osweiler.

Michael Floyd, Cardinals (vs. Bengals) - Questionable

Floyd has emerged in the wake of John Brown seeing limited snaps with his hamstring injury, scoring at least one TD in each of the last four weeks and registering a 7-113-2 line against Seattle despite exiting with a hamstring injury. He's considered day-to-day.

John Brown, Cardinals (vs. Bengals) - Questionable

The aforementioned Brown's nagging hamstring injury has been a thorn in the sides of fantasy owners, as he was active for Arizona's last two games, but failed to register a catch in either. He's difficult to trust going forward until he shows he's clearly over the ailment, and he'll be a game-time decision this week.

DeAndre Hopkins, Texans (vs. Jets) - Questionable

Despite missing some practice time this week, Hopkins is expected to play Sunday, though given his price tag, expected coverage from Darrelle Revis and the fact that backup QB T.J. Yates will be throwing him the ball, he's a risky selection despite his excellent season.

Malcom Floyd, Chargers (vs. Chiefs) - Out

Floyd, San Diego's designated deep threat with a team-leading 19.5 yards per reception, won't play this week and may not suit up for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury suffered in Week 9.

Alshon Jeffery, Bears (at Broncos) - Out

Jeffery missed practice Friday with groin and shoulder injuries. Even if he plays, a matchup against Denver's top-ranked pass defense isn't an enticing proposition, especially in the wake of a disappointing 3-23 line against St. Louis. With Eddie Royal declared out, Marquess Wilson may be the number one receiver by default if Jeffery can't play, though tight ends Martellus Bennett and Zach Miller play big roles in Chicago's passing game.

Vincent Jackson, Buccaneers (at Eagles) - Questionable

Jackson returned to practice Friday after having missed Tampa Bay's last three games. He hasn't been much of a DFS-factor this season, but, if able to play, may take some of the pressure off Mike Evans, who has registered 16 catches and 276 yards in his last two games.

Tight End

Antonio Gates, Chargers (vs. Chiefs) - Probable

Gates didn't practice Thursday due to knee and hip injuries, which is a little disconcerting due to the fact that San Diego is coming off its bye week and the veteran TE would have had extra time to rest. Still, given the probable designation, it would be a surprise if he didn't play.

Ladarius Green, Chargers (vs. Chiefs) - Questionable

Green's ankle injury held him out of San Diego's last game before its bye, and despite the extra week of rest, he's still considered questionable for Sunday.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Buccaneers (at Eagles) - Questionable

Despite practicing at times during each of the last few weeks, Seferian-Jenkins hasn't been cleared for contact since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 2. He's an enticing option due to his strong early performances, not to mention his bargain price, but it appears he'll remain sidelined.
