Marquee Matchups

Bengals at Ravens (-2.5)
Caitlyn Holroyd: Cincinnati has been playing some good football as of late and is 4-1 in its past five games against Baltimore, but this is a must-win game for the 0-2 Ravens. Look for Baltimore to rebound with a big win at home. Ravens -2.5
Joe Thomson: The Ravens have started the season with two road losses and appear out of sorts defensively without Terrell Suggs, giving up 37 points to the Raiders in Week 2. They should regroup with a crucial divisional win. Ravens -2.5
Dan Wilkins: There aren't many positives to take from the Ravens' first two games. Finally getting to play at home won't be enough for them to knock off a hot Bengals team. Bengals +2.5
Broncos (-3) at Lions

Holroyd: The Broncos haven't been as good as their 2-0 record suggests, but they do have the superior defense of the two teams and are coming off 10 days rest. They'll also have the benefit of going up against a banged-up Matthew Stafford, who was left out to dry by the Lions' offensive line in Week 2. Broncos -3
Wilkins: It took a game and a half, but the Broncos finally seemed to figure out that their best chance of winning is to let Peyton Manning do what he does best. Look for Denver to put together a complete performance this week. Broncos -3
Thomson: The Lions have played six quarters of extremely bad football, giving up 31 straight points to the San Diego Chargers before being dominated in all phases of the game by the Minnesota Vikings. This has the makings of an early blowout with Al and Chris forced to vamp in the second half as the Lions embarrass themselves on national television once again. Broncos -3
Chiefs at Packers (-6.5)

Holroyd: The Chiefs face a tall order going up against the Packers at Lambeau Field, where they've gone winless in three of their past four games there. They may not get the win, but Andy Reid's group should be able to keep things close. Chiefs +6.5
Wilkins: Green Bay enters as arguably the best team in the NFL, but the Chiefs match up well enough to at least keep it close. Kansas City should control the clock with a strong running game, while the pass rush takes full advantage of a thin Packers offensive line. Chiefs +6.5
Thomson: The Packers handled the Seahawks easily at home in Week 2 meaning a big spread against the Chiefs is warranted. Giving 6.5 points to a good Chiefs team is tough to swallow, but it's Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau on a Monday night. Packers -6.5
Wild-Card Selections

Saints at Panthers (-7.5)
Holroyd: Cam Newton was in full Superman mode against the Texans, keeping the Panthers undefeated with his late-game heroics. He should have a much easier time against the Saints' defense, which is allowing an average of 380 yards per game. Panthers -7.5
Steelers (-1) at Rams
Wilkins: The high-powered Steelers offense will be nearing full strength with the return of Le'Veon Bell this week. Even a dominant St. Louis defensive front won't be enough to slow that unit down. Steelers -1
Falcons (-1) at Cowboys
Thomson: Of the 2-0 teams, these two have to be the worst, right? The Cowboys are starting Brandon Weeden and Terrance Williams with no semblance of a secondary and are still only a one-point dog against the Falcons. The offensive line jells and the Cowboys run the ball 50 times to win this one. Cowboys +1
