This isn't Marc Trestman's Chicago Bears, and Matt Forte wouldn't have it any other way.

Despite losing 31-23 to their hated rivals from Green Bay on Sunday afternoon, Forte was ultimately impressed with his team's overall effort, something he thinks was lacking during their dismal 5-11 season in 2014.

"The mentality, which I was proud of, is nobody had that stupid look on their face like before when something would happen and everyone would kind of say the game was lost already, when there's time left," Forte told reporters following the game. "So I was glad we didn't have that and kept fighting."

Forte, who hasn't been shy about loudly criticizing Trestman's coaching style, unleashed a massive performance in defeat, rushing for 141 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He also caught five passes for 25 yards.
