Every gameday during the regular season, theScore's fantasy editors recap the most important news and notes from around the league.
Luck falls flat again
If you're an Andrew Luck owner, take a deep breath, it's going to be alright.
For the second straight week, the Colts' offense looked out of sorts as Luck struggled to find his rhythm against a relentless pass rush. While he salvaged his fantasy day a week ago against the Bills, Luck was unable to generate much in the loss to the Jets on Monday night.
Not only did he finish a very pedestrian 21-of-37 for 250 yards and touchdown, Luck threw three interceptions in the process.
Let's remember that these frustrating performances have both come against two of the best defenses in the NFL. The Titans and Jaguars may have improved, but they still sport bottom tier defensive units that Luck will be able to pick apart over the next two weekends.
If you have Luck on your roster, smart owners will be trying to take advantage of your early-season disappointment. Avoid the impulse to make a panic trade. Luck will be one of the top-ranked quarterbacks in Week 3 and moving forward.
Shining in the Darkness

There was one positive to take away from the Colts' offensive performance - Donte Moncrief.
Last week's hot waiver wire add delivered a seven-catch, 122-yard, one-touchdown effort in a game where the offense sputtered. That's good fortune for fantasy owners, but it also might be a sign of things to come.
T.Y. Hilton (4 receptions, 45 yards) is playing through a knee injury and Andre Johnson (3 receptions, 27 yards) continues to look like he's lost a step.
Moncrief has 19 targets through two games. His role in this offense isn't going away.
Notable Fantasy Lines
Brandon Marshall, WR, Jets
7 receptions, 101 yards, TD
Marshall came alive in the second half after the Colts top coverman Vontae Davis left with an injury. Marshall has now scored in both games this season and is a comfortable WR2, even with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm.
Eric Decker, WR, Jets
8 receptions, 97 yards, TD
With Davis locking down Marshall in the first half, Decker went to work. It was a promising performance for the Jets' second receiver, until a knee injury forced him from the game.
Frank Gore, RB, Colts
15 carries, 57 yards
1 reception, 4 yards
Gore started the game strong, but contributed to the Colts' woes with an inexcusable goal-line fumble on a play where he was untouched. Holding penalties also stole some yardage from the veteran back. The good news is that relief is on the way in the form of the Titans' defense.
Chris Ivory, RB, Jets
14 carries, 57 yards
2 receptions, 3 yards
It's surprising Ivory's stat line wasn't a little more inflated. Perhaps the Jets chose to conserve their lead back in a game they controlled from start to finish. Ivory remains a solid RB2, especially if New York continues winning.
Bilal Powell, RB, Jets
12 carries, 38 yards
4 receptions, 16 yards
Powell has been a useful piece for the Jets, but he lacks the talent to be fantasy relevant in anything other than very deep PPR leagues.
Injury Ward
Eric Decker, WR, Jets
Decker will have an MRI on his knee Tuesday to determine the extent of the damage. He told reporters it might be a PCL injury. If that diagnosis is accurate, Decker will likely miss at least a game or two.
Dwayne Allen, TE, Colts
Allen was forced from Monday's contest with a ankle issue. Head coach Chuck Pagano called him day to day.
Waiver Wire
Phillip Dorsett, WR, Colts
Donte Moncrief was likely picked up off the waiver wire last week, but if he wasn't, do everything in your power to get him. Dorsett has a limited role in the Colts' offense at the moment, however, an injury could catapult his value. In deep leagues, it's worth stashing him on your bench.
