The Philadelphia Eagles don't want Tim Tebow on their roster at this time, and none of the other 31 NFL teams do, either.

Tebow was the most notable name released Saturday to pass unclaimed through waivers. Though he appeared to show well in the Eagles' preseason finale, head coach Chip Kelly said Tebow simply didn't do enough to earn a roster spot.

Perhaps adding insult to injury, the Eagles claimed former Jacksonville Jaguars passer Stephen Morris off waivers Sunday.

Former CFL star and Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Duron Carter also went unclaimed. Carter, son of Hall of Famer Cris Carter, entered the NFL with significantly more hype than a typical developmental signing, thanks to his pedigree.

Carter was added to the Colts' practice squad.

Jonas Gray, the former New England Patriots running back who rushed for over 200 yards and four touchdowns in a game last season before being benched the following week, also went unclaimed.

So did Stanley Jean-Baptiste, a second-round pick of the New Orleans Saints only a year ago.
