Wide receiver A.J. Jenkins is attending New York Jets rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, according to multiple reports.
Jenkins was a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. The team cut the cord on Jenkins' development after only one season, sending him to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for fellow first-round bust Jon Baldwin.
Jenkins was cut by the Chiefs in February.
In three seasons (28 games plays with three starts), Jenkins has 17 catches for 223 yards.
