Chris Johnson: 'I'd fit good in Dallas'

Free-agent running back Chris Johnson wants a new job and he thinks he has just the right team in mind.

"I'd fit good in Dallas," Johnson told TMZ when asked if the Cowboys could be a good landing spot. "They need it. Yeah. That's what we're trying to do."

Johnson was captured by TMZ cameras out on the town with former teammate Vince Young, a player who has plenty of experience (with little success) pitching his talents to teams in the past.

The Cowboys haven't shown any interest in adding Johnson, who posted a career-low 663 yards rushing last season with the New York Jets. By many accounts, the former 2,000-yard rusher is washed up.

The Cowboys do have an apparent need after emerging from the draft without a rookie runner, however. Darren McFadden tops the team's depth chart, followed by Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar and Ryan Williams. It's one of the NFL's worst groups of running backs and Johnson could add some name recognition to the mix, if nothing else.
