The Minnesota Vikings have added some depth to their secondary.

Minnesota agreed to terms on a one-year deal with safety Taylor Mays.

Mays spent the last four seasons playing mainly as a backup with the Cincinnati Bengals, totaling 60 tackles. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was the defensive coordinator in Cincinnati for three of those seasons.

The veteran figures to contribute mainly on special teams in Minnesota.
