The Houston Texans are set to promote quarterbacks coach George Godsey to offensive coordinator, according to multiple reports.
Godsey was calling the plays last season, while head coach Bill O'Brien was the official offensive coordinator.
The former Georgia Tech quarterback began his coaching career at Central Florida before making the jump to the NFL where he was the tight ends coach from 2012-2013.
