Report: Jared Odrick signs with Jaguars, $22M guaranteed
Melina Vastola / USA TODAY Sports
Jared Odrick has signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars worth $8.5 million per season with $22 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
It is uncertain how many years Odrick signed for.
Odrick became expendable to the Miami Dolphins when the team reached an agreement to sign big-ticket free agent Ndamukong Suh.
Odrick can play 3-4 defensive end and 4-3 defensive tackle. The Jaguars may choose to move him around the line to maximize his effectiveness, but it's likely most of Odrick's snaps will come on the interior of the line.
In four seasons with the Dolphins, Odrick registered 129 tackles and 16.5 sacks.
