While some salary cap constraints could hurt the Green Bay Packers' chances of re-signing Bryan Bulaga, it appears that both sides would like to see the right tackle continue his career where it started.
"Definitely I want him back and Bryan wants to be back," head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Thursday. "But we're in the business phase."
The 25-year-old was an integral player on a strong Packers offensive line in 2014, and keeping the unit intact should be a goal for the front office going forward.
Bulaga will be among the top available offensive tackles in free agency, and a number of teams would get involved in the bidding if he reaches the open market without an extension from Green Bay.
