Patriots' Chandler Jones thinks he can beat brother Jon Jones in a fight
New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones says there's no doubt he could take brother Jon Jones in a fight.
While Chandler, 24, is a fearsome player on the gridiron, Jon, 27, is the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion.
Despite Jon's success in the Octagon, and his impressive 21-1 record as a pro fighter, Chandler says he would be happy to fight his brother because he's sure he would emerge victorious.
"Me and my brother used to fight all the time when we were young ... and I'm pretty sure I can take him down now. I am way bigger than he is," Chandler told TMZ.
Chandler carries a 60-pound weight advantage on Jon, so it may not be a fair fight.
"It will be fun if we actually did a one-round match for charity," Chandler added. "That would be fun. If I win, he would have to donate to the charity of my choice and vice versa."
Don't count on it actually happening, though, at least not while Chandler is under contract in the NFL.
"I don't know how my coach would feel about it," the recent Super Bowl champion conceded. "I don't think it would fly."
