The NFL has fined Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch $20,000 for making an obscene gesture after his touchdown in last Sunday's NFC Championship game, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The league is also considering a substantial fine for Lynch's refusal to speak to the media following the game.
Lynch was fined $100,000 earlier this season for refusing to speak with the media.
The running back will be required to speak with the media Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of Super Bowl week. If he chooses not to fulfill that commitment, fines will increase for every session he misses.
