Allen, a running back from USC, will enter the 2015 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
Also known as 'Buck,' Allen had a highly successful 2014 season, finishing with 1,489 yards (5.4 YPC) and 11 touchdowns as a runner whil catching 41 passes for 458 yards and a touchdown in 13 games. At 6-foot-1, 220 pounds with excellent receiving skills, Allen has the size and skill set to project into a three-down role about as well as any runner in the draft. He probably lacks the standout athleticism of some of the other top runners in this draft, however, so he might fall into the third or fourth round despite his applicability to the NFL. We think he compares favorably to Fred Jackson.
