The Chicago Bears placed wide receiver Brandon Marshall on injured reserve Monday, ending his season.
Marshall was discharged from Northwestern Memorial Hospital on Sunday, three days after suffering two fractured ribs and a collapsed lung in the Bears' 41-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Bears promoted wide receiver Josh Bellamy from the practice squad to fill Marshall's spot on the active roster.
