Cowboys shock Seahawks
Very few people gave the Dallas Cowboys a chance to walk into Seattle and beat the Seahawks, but that's why they play the games.
The Cowboys marched into CenturyLink Field and came away with a 30-23 victory, thanks to some gritty play by quarterback Tony Romo.
Romo absorbed several big hits, but hung in there to go 21-for-32 for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams made the plays when they needed to against the Seahawks secondary. The wide receivers combined for six catches and 133 yards.
Dallas once again leaned on the run, as DeMarco Murray hit the century mark for the sixth time this season.
Packers come back to beat Dolphins

The Green Bay Packers won their third straight game thanks to some late heroics by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers led the offense to 10 points in the game's final five minutes to give the Pack a 27-24 win over the Miami Dolphins.
The comeback was highlighted by a Rodgers fake spike that ended up a completion to wideout Davante Adams at the Miami 4-yard line. From there, Rodgers hit tight end Andrew Quarless for the winning score.
Bengals and Panthers end up in rare tie

Ties are very unusual in the NFL today, but we were treated to one Sunday thanks to the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals.
With the score tied at 34 heading into overtime, both teams exchanged field goals in the extra session.
There was one final possession that ended in a missed 36-yard field goal by Bengals kicker Mike Nugent on the game's last play.
Joe Flacco has a monster day

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco didn't waste any time on Sunday padding his stats.
Flacco tossed four first quarter touchdowns and added a fifth early in the second against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, finishing the day with more than 300 yards passing.
Two of those touchdowns went to wide receiver Torrey Smith, who's had a slow start to the season so far. If Flacco and Smith can start connecting again, it'll be a big boost to the Ravens' attack.
Carr lights up Chargers in loss

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was nursing leg and ankle injuries during a bye week, but those look to be behind him Sunday.
Carr threw four touchdowns against the San Diego Chargers to stake his team to a fourth-quarter lead, but the Raiders couldn't hold on.
Oakland seems to have more life with interim coach Tony Sparano now patrolling the sideline, although they remain winless.
Bridgewater struggles in 2nd start

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater looked impressive in his first NFL start, but it was a different story today against the Detroit Lions.
Bridgewater threw three interceptions and failed to hit 200 yards passing on the day.
As excited as Vikings fans were with their new quarterback, it's clear he still has plenty of work to do.
Injury Roundup

The New England Patriots defense suffered a blow as linebacker Jerod Mayo was carted off versus the Buffalo Bills with what looked like a knee injury. According to reports, it is believed to be serious and he will have tests Monday.
In that same game, Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was lost with a knee injury, which is reportedly feared to be a torn ACL.
Meanwhile, in Cleveland, Browns center Alex Mack was also carted off with what's being reported as a broken fibula in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prior to the injury, Mack had yet to miss a snap in his career.
The New York Jets had a tough task stopping Peyton Manning to begin with, but things got a little tougher: corner Dee Milliner left Sunday's contest versus the Denver Broncos with an ankle injury and will not return. Rex Ryan fears he could be out long-term.
