The calf injury that forced Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks to miss his team's win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday is expected to keep him out at least another week.
The Philadelphia Daily News reports Kendricks sat out practice Wednesday and is a long-shot to play in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The extent of Kendricks's calf injury isn't known, so it's possible he'll remain sidelined for several more weeks. It's a big hit for the Eagles defense, as Kendricks was emerging as one of the league's better young linebackers.
