Report: Cowboys' Claiborne back with team after going AWOL upon demotion
Disgruntled Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne returned to the team Wednesday after storming out upon learning of his demotion from the starting lineup.
The Star-Telegram reports Claiborne was spotted at team facilities Wednesday morning, a day after he went AWOL and missed the team's walk-through practice upon being told Orlando Scandrick would start in his place in Week 4.
It's unclear whether the Cowboys will discipline the 2011 No. 6 overall pick for his actions. Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is slated to address the media late Wednesday morning.
Now in his third year as a pro, Claiborne has demonstrated few, if any, signs of improvement. He was repeatedly torched in Week 3, prompting his coaches' decision to remove him from the starting lineup.
