The Baylor Bears will get their first chance to step onto the field at their new stadium on Sunday night. The Bears will welcome SMU to town for the inaugural game at McLane Stadium, but the field isn't the only new addition.
Just prior to the game, Baylor unveiled a statue of former Bears and current Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Griffin, of course, is Baylor's only ever Heisman Trophy winner, having captured the award for the 2011 season. McLane Stadium could easily be called the house that RG3 built, as his Heisman-winning season brought the Bears to prominence and forced the nation to pay attention to Baylor.
