Seahawks' Richard Sherman responds to Cardinals' Patrick Peterson's tweet about contract

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson became the highest paid player in the NFL at his position Tuesday night, and he wanted to make sure Richard Sherman didn't miss the news.  

Sherman replied to Peterson's new deal by retweeting a tweet that highlighted the performance of the two cornerbacks last season.

Peterson took the news in stride, firing back at Sherman with his own words.

Sherman, who is typically never shy about voicing his opinion, was a man of few words with his response. 

It's too bad they play the same position, as seeing them square off against one another twice a year would probably be quite the spectacle.
