New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan revealed that rookie safety Calvin Pryor suffered a head injury at training camp Saturday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports

Ryan indicated the injury could be a concussion.

Pryor was the Jets' first-round pick in May's draft. He was known as a big-hitting enforcer in college, so perhaps it shouldn't be a surprise that he's already nicked up.

For now, the injury isn't believed to be anything serious (though concussions are never a truly minor matter). The Jets will surely exercise care with their prized acquisition and only allow him back on the field when he's fully cleared.
