Roddy White's half-brother was pronounced dead early Saturday morning after being shot outside a South Carolina nightclub.
Tyrone Moore Jr. was fatally wounded after witnesses say several shots were fired outside the Lake House Club on Mosquito Beach, according to the Charleston Post and Courier
Moore Jr., 21, and the Falcons wide receiver lived together for several years in Atlanta and both were raised by their mother Joenethia White.
Police are searching for the shooter(s) and a motive remains unknown.
Falcons owner Arthur Blank released a statement Saturday on the team's website:
We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy’s brother Tyrone. Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances. Roddy and his family can count on our support through this very trying time. On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family.
