VIDEO: Deion Sanders says there was a gay player on every NFL team he played for
NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders appeared on "The Arsenio Hall Show" on Wednesday to show his support for openly gay prospect Michael Sam.
"I don't condone nor condemn, but I'm going to love him," Sanders said. "He's not the first gay guy in the NFL. He's the first one to come out. Let's get that straight."
Sanders also revealed that each of the five teams he played for during his 14-year NFL career had a gay player on their roster.
"We always knew," he said. "But he was cool. That was our boy. We had to look out for him."
