The Green Bay Packers have made a living through the air in recent years and now it appears they plan to lock up one of their most potent weapons.
Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday that the Packers plan to make signing wide receiver Jordy Nelson to a contract extension a priority this offseason.
Nelson has been the team's leading receiver in two of the last three seasons and finished 2013 with over 1,300 yards receiving and eight touchdowns.
Nelson is in the final year of his contract where he is slated to make $2.5M.
