Super Bowl XLVIII odds: Big early money on Broncos swings line

With the Seahawks still celebrating their NFC Championship win on the field in Seattle and the George Halas Trophy having yet to have even been presented to the team, sportsbooks acted quickly in posting their opening lines for a Super Bowl that was still two weeks away.

Most opening lines saw Seattle favored in the -1 to -1.5 range. The Las Vegas Superbook was one of the first to post and opened with the Seahawks as a 2-point favorite.

That didn't last long though as big money came in on Denver, who defeated New England to win the AFC earlier in the day, swinging the line the other way.

Via RJ Bell, Sportsbook.ag said that over 90 percent of early action came in on the Broncos, causing them to bump their line up to a full three points.

If the line holds up, Denver will have been favored in 30 consecutive games, going 20-9 against the number and 25-4 straight up in their previous 29 outings.

Far less action on the total which sits at 48 in most spots, but there's still plenty of time for that to shift around before game time.
