Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy wasn't in the locker room with his team during halftime of Sunday's 26-19 overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He instead spent the intermission in the blue medical tent after appearing to twist his ankle while walking off the field at the conclusion of the first half, according to the CBS broadcast.

McCarthy needed assistance reaching the medical tent.

McCarthy coached the rest of the game from the sideline.

The Steelers trailed the Buccaneers 13-3 at halftime but used a second-half surge to escape Tampa Bay with a win. Pittsburgh scored 16 points in the fourth quarter before getting the game-winning touchdown on Germie Bernard's first career score in overtime.

The win moved the Steelers to 4-2.
