San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw will appeal his one-game suspension for headbutting, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Greenlaw received a one-game ban for unsportsmanlike conduct that occurred during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL announced Monday.
He was ejected from the game for using his helmet to headbutt Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV, who wasn't wearing a helmet while on the sideline.

Greenlaw's appeal will be heard by either Derrick Brooks, Jordy Nelson, Ron Rivera, or James Thrash.
San Francisco's next game is on Monday Night Football against the Washington Commanders.
This is the second time Greenlaw has been suspended in his eight-year career. The league banned him one game last season for verbally abusing officials. Greenlaw, who's also been fined six times in his career, received a punishment of nearly $12,000 last week for taunting the Denver Broncos' sideline.
Greenlaw has recorded 37 combined tackles this season, second most on the 49ers' defense behind Fred Warner.
