Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to play against the New York Giants on Sunday, nearly three weeks after dislocating his non-throwing elbow.
Daniels missed two games after he was injured in Week 2's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The 25-year-old previously dislocated his non-throwing elbow in a game against the Seattle Seahawks last year.
"He's full go," offensive coordinator David Blough said Thursday when asked if Daniels will have any limitations Sunday, according to ESPN's John Keim.
Daniels said he felt ready to return after last week's practices in London, where he was a limited participant, per Keim.
The quarterback will wear a brace on his left elbow for the remainder of the season.
"I'm going to embrace the brace, not worry about it too much," Daniels said Wednesday. "It's my non-throwing arm, so I think as long as I got the right one to attack, I'll be all right."
Washington's No. 2 quarterback, Marcus Mariota, sprained his MCL in the Commanders' loss to the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Rookie Athan Kaliakmanis passed for 186 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in relief of Mariota.
Washington (1-3) is seeking its first win against a divisional rival this season after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
