Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams left Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, the team announced.
Head coach Ben Johnson said postgame that the star quarterback is "in good spirits," according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero. Johnson added that the team will know more about the severity of Williams' injury Monday.
Williams was helped off the field and carted to the locker room. He didn't return and was replaced by Tyson Bagent, who completed 5 of 9 passes for 54 yards.
Williams sustained the injury while running toward the sideline. He fell to the ground without being touched.
