The Buffalo Bills will be without star defensive tackle Ed Oliver for Thursday's game against the Detroit Lions after he injured his hip in pregame warmups, the team announced.
The Bills are taking on a Lions team that put up 31 points and rushed for 165 yards in Week 1.
Oliver missed the majority of the 2025 regular season due to a torn bicep. He played in three games before returning for Buffalo's divisional-round contest against the Denver Broncos.
The 28-year-old registered five tackles, one tackle for a loss, and a fumble recovery in the Bills' Week 1 win over the Houston Texans.
Running back Ty Johnson and defensive lineman T.J. Sanders are among the other Bills players who will be inactive Thursday.
