New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara will miss a few weeks after sustaining a knee injury at practice Tuesday, a source told Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.
The injury isn't considered major and doesn't include any tears, according to Underhill.
Kamara's exit was one of many notable events that occurred during a joint practice session with the Dallas Cowboys. There were several fights between the two teams, and Saints wide receiver Ronnie Bell was carted off due to heat-related issues.
The Saints' backfield is led by free-agent signee Travis Etienne and Kamara. The former is coming off a 1,107-yard rushing campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Meanwhile, Kamara recorded a career-low 471 rushing yards in 2025 and produced under 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the first time in his career (657). The 31-year-old is entering the final year of his contract.
