Sports world roasts Jayden Daniels with No. 5 memes amid LSU dispute

Several teams and sports fans mocked Jayden Daniels over the weekend amid the Washington Commanders quarterback's dispute with his alma mater, LSU.

A representative for Daniels recently told LSU it can no longer use the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner's name, image, and likeness after the school allowed cornerback DJ Pickett to wear a No. 5 jersey, Daniels' old number with the Tigers.

Daniels' situation quickly became a meme, and multiple schools, MLB teams, and even a meteorologist had a good laugh at the passer's expense on social media.
