Baltimore Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins was carted off the field during Tuesday's practice with an apparent left leg/knee injury, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Head coach Jesse Minter said after the session that he didn't have a "ton of information yet" but added "there's optimism" about the cornerback's status.
Wiggins suffered the injury in a one-on-one drill after getting his feet mixed up with rookie wideout Ja'Kobi Lane, per Hensley. He was reportedly in visible pain as trainers examined the injury.
Wiggins couldn't put any weight on his left leg as he exited, Hensley adds.
A first-round pick in 2024, Wiggins started all 17 games for Baltimore last year, recording three interceptions and racking up 76 tackles.
