The Dallas Cowboys and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams agreed to a three-year, $105.9-million contract extension, the team announced Monday.
Williams' new deal includes $63.35 million guaranteed at signing, the highest-ever total for a defensive tackle, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Cowboys co-owner and chief operating officer Stephen Jones said the organization is happy to have the four-time Pro Bowler under contract through the 2030 season.
"It's a big part of all the moving parts that went with our trade last year," Jones told team reporter Tommy Yarrish. "I think this kind of, at the end of the day, puts a bow on top in terms of knowing that we're going to have Q here for the next five years long term and have Kenny (Clark) out there rolling, the deal we made with Rashan Gary, and how we used the pick on (Malachi) Lawrence."
Williams was asked in July if he wanted to remain in Dallas long term and responded, "I definitely want to be here for the long haul."
Williams signed a four-year, $96-million extension with the Jets in July 2023 that didn't include any guaranteed salary in 2027, the final year of the deal, according to Over the Cap.
The Cowboys acquired Williams in a trade with the New York Jets last November. The 28-year-old recorded nine QB hits, three tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in seven games with Dallas.
Williams has tallied 41.5 sacks across seven NFL seasons. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2022 after posting a career-high 12 sacks.
The Alabama product is the latest defensive tackle to secure a significant raise this offseason after the Philadelphia Eagles' Jalen Carter and the Tennessee Titans' Jeffery Simmons.
