The New England Patriots and tight end Hunter Henry have agreed to an extension, the team announced Monday.
The contract is a two-year, $16-million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It can be worth up to $20 million and contains $14.5 million guaranteed as well as a $4.2-million signing bonus.
Henry, 31, posted a career-high 768 receiving yards last season on 87 targets, averaging 12.8 yards per reception.
Henry is a 10-year veteran and has spent the previous five with the Patriots. In New England, he has scored 26 touchdowns in 81 games while producing 11.5 yards per reception on 379 targets.
The former second-rounder was heading into the final season of a three-year, $27-million extension signed in 2024.
