The Pittsburgh Steelers and pass-rusher Nick Herbig agreed to a four-year, $100-million extension, reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The new contract reportedly contains $42 million in guaranteed money.
The 24-year-old is coming off a career-high 7.5-sack campaign last season. His three forced fumbles last year were tied with T.J. Watt for most on the team.
Herbig has spent his time in Pittsburgh as the No. 3 edge rusher behind Watt and Alex Highsmith. However, his production has increased with each passing season. He posted three sacks as a rookie, 5.5 in 2024, and then 7.5 last year.
A fourth-round pick in 2023, Herbig was entering the final year of his rookie contract before inking the extension.
The Steelers now have their top three edge rushers all signed for the foreseeable future. Watt is tied up through 2028 on a three-year, $123-million deal while Highsmith is under contract through 2027 on a four-year pact worth $68 million.
