Free-agent pass-rusher Von Miller hopes he can reunite with the Denver Broncos this season.

"Obviously, I wouldn't start. Obviously, I wouldn't play special teams," Miller told The Denver Post's Parker Gabriel. "But I will say, the type of room that we would have, the outside linebackers with me, Nik Bonitto, we'd be a force. Whatever coach we have going on, I would just contribute to that. The defense that we'd have. I'd love to bring back those Super Bowl 50 vibes."

He added, "I would love to assist and be a vice president to Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton. I've been the guy, and also I've been the vice president, as well. I'd love to contribute to us getting back to the glory land, holding up that trophy, and confetti falling again."

The Broncos originally drafted Miller second overall in 2011. He spent 10-plus seasons with the team, claiming eight Pro Bowl nods and earning three first-team All-Pro nominations. He was also named Super Bowl 50 MVP after recording 2.5 sacks against the Carolina Panthers to help Denver hoist its third Lombardi Trophy.

The 37-year-old spent the 2025 campaign with the Washington Commanders after a three-year run with the Buffalo Bills. In Washington, he recorded a team-high nine sacks and 36 pressures in just 420 defensive snaps.

"Last year, I played 37% of the defensive snaps," Miller said. "Thirty (percent) with the Denver Broncos and I feel like I can do the same exact thing I did with the Washington Commanders."

Denver has not expressed any interest in signing the veteran linebacker yet, a source told Gabriel. However, Miller and general manager George Paton have been in contact in recent months about Miller's desire to work in an NFL front office at the end of his playing career.

"I lobby publicly, I lobby privately. I do lobby," Miller said. "There's no question the type of environment I bring to a locker room and to a team. I don't like to pat myself on the back, but at 37 years old, I can still roll out of bed and rush the quarterback. I'm still a great guy in the locker room, I bring great energy, and I'm going to make sure everybody is ready to go."

Miller's 138.5 career sacks rank first among active players and ninth on the NFL's official all-time list.
