Steelers' Heyward agrees to new 2-year, $32.25M pact

The Pittsburgh Steelers are handing veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward a new two-year, $32.25-million contract, his agent told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The deal includes $16.25 million fully guaranteed.
Heyward was previously under contract through 2026, but his new deal keeps him with the Steelers through the end of the 2027 season.
His agent added that the pact is the largest ever signed by a defensive player age 36 or older.
The new deal saves the Steelers roughly $5.5 million in cap space, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Heyward, who will be 37 when the 2026 season begins, had 3.5 sacks last year.
