The New England Patriots are signing wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a four-year, $70-million contract, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Doubs spent four seasons with the Green Bay Packers from 2022-25. The 25-year-old averaged a career-high 13.2 yards per catch and 724 receiving yards in 2025. He caught eight passes for 124 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' wild-card game loss to the Chicago Bears.

The Nevada product recorded at least 42 receptions in each of his first four NFL seasons. He also racked up at least 600 yards in each season dating back to 2023.

The Patriots fill a need at wide receiver after parting ways with Stefon Diggs last week. Doubs is joining a receiving corps that includes Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, and Mack Hollins.

The Patriots have been exploring the market for a top-tier wide receiver. Signing Doubs won't necessarily stop New England from pursuing a trade for Philadelphia Eagles wideout A.J. Brown, reports MassLive's Karen Guregian.

Doubs considered competing offers from the Commanders and Patriots before choosing New England, reports ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The Patriots also agreed to terms on a contract with offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker on Monday.
