Super Bowl LXI odds: Seahawks co-favorites to repeat
While the confetti may have just fallen at Levi's Stadium after the Seahawks' Super Bowl victory, we're ready to take a very early look at who's projected to be celebrating this time next year.
It's no surprise to see the reigning champions pegged as early co-favorites - alongside the Rams - to win Super Bowl LXI. The teams, which are +800 on theScore Bet, also battled for the top spot on the oddsboard for the majority of the 2025 season. Seattle ultimately defeated its division rival in the NFC Championship Game.
Many of the Seahawks' key pieces are sure to return, aside from Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, who's slated to hit free agency. Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and most of its vaunted defense will be back to defend the title next year at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Plenty of early bettors believe in Seattle, as the Seahawks have attracted 21.2% of bets and 33.8% of handle.

Has there ever been more parity in the NFL than right now? This postseason proved that there are many teams with a chance to win it all, and the odds for next season reflect that.
Fourteen teams are priced at +2000 or shorter to win the Super Bowl in 2027, which is nearly half of the league. Typically, far fewer teams have odds that short. Entering this season, five teams were shorter than +2000, and three were exactly that number.
The usual suspects are near the top of the oddsboard. Despite failing to make the playoffs, the Chiefs and Ravens are among the contenders, thanks to their MVP quarterbacks.
The Packers are expected to be a contender in the NFC once again. Their Super Bowl aspirations were derailed by injuries this season, most notably to Micah Parsons, but the betting market still considers Green Bay a threat.
The Chargers jumped up the oddsboard after hiring Mike McDaniel as their offensive coordinator. Bettors are clearly bullish on what McDaniel can do with Justin Herbert and a presumably healthy offensive line.
Chin up, Patriots fans. New England is +1500 to redeem itself after a disappointing Super Bowl showing. The future remains bright for Drake Maye, and the team will certainly look to fill holes that Seattle took advantage of.
The next tier
| Team | Odds |
|---|---|
| Bears | +2500 |
| Bengals | +2500 |
| Cowboys | +3000 |
| Buccaneers | +4000 |
| Colts | +4000 |
| Commanders | +5000 |
| Vikings | +5000 |
| Falcons | +6000 |
| Saints | +7500 |
| Giants | +7500 |
With so many teams priced among the favorites, the drop-off afterward is rather drastic.
The Bears are one of two teams sitting atop the second tier after a strong turnaround during Ben Johnson's first year as head coach. Meanwhile, the betting market still respects Joe Burrow enough to keep the Bengals' odds reasonable at +2500.
Searching for next year's version of the Seahawks or Patriots? How about the Commanders at +5000? At this point last year, Washington had just played in the NFC championship, and Jayden Daniels was considered as a top-five quarterback in the league. However, after a disastrous 2025, the team's odds have plummeted. If the Commanders add a few defensive pieces in the offseason and upgrade Daniels' weapons, either through the draft or with their roughly $70 million in cap space, they're definitely worth a look.
The long shots
| Team | Odds |
|---|---|
| Panthers | +10000 |
| Steelers | +10000 |
| Browns | +15000 |
| Raiders | +15000 |
| Titans | +15000 |
| Cardinals | +20000 |
| Dolphins | +20000 |
| Jets | +25000 |
Despite making the playoffs this year, the Panthers and Steelers are viewed as big-time long shots for Super Bowl LXI. Carolina could reach the postseason again on account of playing in a weak NFC South, so that alone makes it a somewhat valuable pick. But the betting market still doesn't seem to believe in Bryce Young. Meanwhile, there's a lot of uncertainty in Pittsburgh, with Aaron Rodgers' future undecided and Mike McCarthy now at the helm.
